Altre due suggestive immagini della bellissima città russa. Era l'inverno del 1986 e mi ricordo che faceva un freddo pazzesco. (abbiamo provato ad avere anche -23 gradi sotto zero)

Two other evocative images of the beautiful Russian city. It was the winter of 1986 and I remember that was a crazy cold. (we have also tried to -23 degrees below zero)

MONUMENTO AI CADUTI

Leningrado (San Pietroburbgo): Durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale, questa città fu assediata dalle truppe tedesche dal 1941 al 1944 con circa 640.000 vittime. Quest assedio venne ricordato con la posa, alla fine degli anni cinquanta di una serie di monumenti e ceppi lungo la linea che segnava il fronte di guerra.

Questo è uno dei tanti monumenti che furono eretti in ricordo di quel terribile momento.

Leningrad (San Pietroburbgo): During the Second World War, this city was besieged by German troops from 1941 to 1944 with about 640,000 victims. This siege was recalled in the laying, the end of the fifties of a series of monuments and strains along the line marking the front of war. This is one of the many monuments that were erected in memory of that terrible time.

BRRRR.......CHE FREDDO.

E' l'anno 1986 e sono con la mia dolce metà in Russia. Le due immagini che ho postato sono due giardini in città diverse: La prima se non mi ricordo male sono dei giardini a Leningrado mentre la seconda immagine l'ho scattata nella Residenza estiva (si fa per dire) dello Zar.

Is the year 1986 and I am with my sweetie in Russia. The two images that I have posted two gardens in different cities: The first, if I remember correctly, are the gardens in Leningrad while the second image I shot in the summer residence (do I say) of Zar.
